06 / TRUST BY DESIGN

Built around evidence.
Guided by responsibility.

FIRE’s proposed governance baseline puts confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, and accountable human decisions at the center of the work.

EXPLORE THE PRINCIPLES

Confidentiality is a design input.

Limit sensitive information to an authorized purpose. Apply least privilege, need-to-know access, and proportionate handling throughout its lifecycle.

Least privilegeData minimizationIP protection

Governance principles adapted from FIRE’s draft policy. They describe the proposed baseline; they are not a certification or a claim that every product control is complete.

THE FIRE MISSION

Empower truth.
Protect what is entrusted to us.

“To empower truth through digital forensics while safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, and responsible stewardship of the information, evidence, systems, intellectual property, and people entrusted to FIRE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LLC.”

FIRE’s mission statement · Security, Confidentiality, Governance and Accountability Policy
